The drivers.app platform provides two distinct subsystems: native mobile apps for instructors and students, and the web application for the administrative staff of each Driving School. It is designed based on the principles of “cloud first” – “mobile first,” which in practice means:
1. Cloud first: The solution is offered to driving schools as a cloud computing service, which includes the provision of software as a service (Software-as-a-Service) as well as all necessary infrastructure services for the uninterrupted operation of the solution on the internet (hosting services, bandwidth, security services, etc.). Adopting the solution by each Driving School does not require any investment in infrastructure (computers, networks, security).
2. Mobile first: The solution provides an optimal experience for its users primarily through the use of mobile devices (smartphones). To best serve the Mobile First philosophy, users with the roles of Instructor, Student, and Guardian are served through the use of native mobile apps for devices with Android or iOS operating systems, while for the administrative users of the educational organization, access to the application is implemented through the use of the responsive web application that optimally serves the data management needs that a Driving School is called to handle in a secure and efficient manner.
